Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Festival

ADMAF is known as Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation. This is a non profitable organization founded in the year 1996 and the organization has seen great success since its foundation. The basic aim for forming this organization was to exhibit advance forms of culture, creativity, arts and music. This cultural set up aims to provide rich cultural events on a regular basis. It also includes performances accompanied by presentations and traditional and Arabic music concerts. The ADMAF tries and built parallel international and national cultural organizations and it also enhance the cultural position of Abu Dhabi among national and international media. It organizes regular concerts featuring the best classic music performers and the best opera singers.

Every year people who are fond of watching these renowned personalities stand a good chance to meet these performers. This time Abu Dhabi is going to host the 6th Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Festival. This great cultural and music event will held under the patronage of the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This event attracts world class artists from all over the globe. This recently scheduled festival boasts of its live performances including ballet and musical performances, art exhibitions, gala events and last but not the least educational programs. ADMAF presented the complete event with the executive producer IMG Artists. Abu Dhabi culture and Heritage authority supported the entire event.

The 6th Music and Arts festival got kick started with a special opera gala. Angela Gheorghiu, a well known opera singers started off the program. The Bolshoi Ballet delivers a Ballet Gala. This music and art festival is internationally renowned for the best live performances. This festival is being celebrated as a grand event attracting world class artists from all over the globe. There are workshops going on for the regular updates about the day to day performances. If we compare the 6th Abu Dhabi music and arts festival with the previous one, there were 35 public performances and events and 2150 tickets got sold for only 10 major events.

The organizers for this show states that the arts festival is a vital element in building the cultural reputation of the country. Apart from these opera and other live performances there was an exhibition hosted by brilliant Tunisian contemporary artist Nja Mahaoui. The exhibition runs throughout the festival. The Abu Dhabi festival is a cultural inspiration for the organizers as well as for the attendants. This music and arts festival continues to bid to be the cultural capital of the Middle East. The event also hosts educational program in the schools and colleges there and schedule various outside events for children as well. In addition Dia Al-Azzawi, a British-Iraqi painter is being honored with his work displayed at the Ghaf Gallery and the Emirates Palace.

Abu Dhabi is well framed with its culture and heritage and these programs organized with stunning live performances. This event has now become the highlights of the Gulf calendar and the artists that perform every year in this event are all the more excited. This is one of the most inspiring schedules in Abu Dhabi which people eagerly wait for. Every year, there are award function ceremonies which are all the more exciting and fun filled. The 6th festival was a huge success and more than 9,000 people attended this grand event. Performances ranging from contemporary, Arabian and classical music to ballet make the atmosphere more entertaining and fun filled. This year, Visual Arts Exhibition was introduced for the first time. These are some of the highlights of the event which has made Abu Dhabi Music and Arts festival a huge success.
