Talking about the night out with killer shoes, gorgeous dresses, beautiful people and champagne can brighten up the sleaziest of the moods and having all these things around can definitely lighten up even the rainy Manhattan sky. Here is a compilation of the Fall 2009 season to analyze what all can be paired up together and which clothes to embezzle from the men in our lives.
As you take a walk into the presentation by a renowned fashion designer, you can’t help but notice a handful of directions that lead you to clothes on the shelves and accessories on the racks. Vibrant fuchsia colored dresses and tight shorts are teamed up with the leather mini skirts and menswear comprised mainly of blazers, sleeveless Alexander Wang motorcycle jackets and black Mongolian fur vest share racks with delicate feminine scarves draped around the mannequins’ necks. Garments made of strong fabrics and leathers with a tinge of architectural lines exude strength and power.
A continuing powerful trend for Fall, remains to be menswear, but this time, sequined embellishments and high boots with zippers and grommets embellished shaft, but soft peep toes and slim feminine heels are in. Another inch has been added to the platform shoes of last year’s trends. Black color these days has a dominant statements and effects. Accessories are a girl’s weakness and they are equally blinding to men. Bags and Shoes in animal print share tabletops with encrusted jewelery with crystal and ribbon.
One thing is pretty clear, if one wants to invest in as less as possible pieces this Fall, one can purchase an architecturally designed dress with cuts, one of the magnificent Lanvin or YSL necklaces or a pair of rock and roll booties to wear it. History repeats itself and just for an instance, tights are back with a rocking appeal this year and are now available in bold prints and colors. Strong prints are a great method to change your appeal and cast a bold statement. If you are amongst those rare kinds who want to make the heads around them turn, you can opt for a pair of boots which are thigh high that would leave an outstanding impression. They are available from Net-A-Porter.
This season, all the trends seem to be tied through one signature together and that is power. Regardless of the fact that this season, who the muse was for designers, they are confident and strong about their outfits, no matter what may be the status of the global economy. From high heeled to flat shoes, suede or leather printed, thigh high boots are the trendiest in this latest season. They are sexy, fierce and a bit dangerous! Thigh length boots look their best when worn with really short or mini dresses, tunic sweaters, slim jeans and elegant coats. Don’t mess them up by looking undesirably slutty by wearing thigh high shoes teamed up with fishnets, skirts or transparent tops like one of your cheap holidays night outs.
One of the amazing cat walk messages was “Go Velvet or Go Home“ , as the magnificent fabric was included into a rang eof outfits: evening gowns, cocktail dresses, coats, blazers, pants and mini skirts. No longer that time prevails when velvet used to be underground, and it gave us a sheer delight to see a trend that reflected a contrast of the 80’s, with splendidly crafted pieces that immediately remind us of the era when Jazz existed, when women were heavenly chic and divinely feminine. The secret behind wearing this trend is to keep everything to a balanced and a minimum amount by avoiding fancy silhouettes and vibrant accessories as they will add a drama to your collection. The idea here is to look sophisticated, yet sexy, chic and trendy, but not trashy.
In the coming spring, get an opportunity to surprise everyone, because during the spring/summer 09 seasons, everything is going to dazzle and shine. There will be tons of oversized and tiny sequins on blazers and dresses with shimmering stones, sparkling fabrics and glittery metallic embroidery stitched onto tops and pants, which might make you jump on your feet and say, 80’s are back with a thunder!
