• Dubai Summer Surprises: This is basically a counterpart of Dubai shopping festival which lasts for about ten weeks. During this time, various grand events are being organized in many shopping malls and there are weekly changing themes for that matter. This event focuses on both family entertainment and education. It normally runs in the month of June to August. As mentioned above, the weeks are being divided into themes that are called surprises. The surprises include: sweet surprises, flower surprises, ice surprises, knowledge surprises and lot more.

• Dubai World Cup: This is a horse race that is held annually since the year 1996 in Dubai. The Emirates Horse Racing Authority (EHRA) operates this race and with pursue of USD 6 million, this race is being pursued as one of the richest horse race in the world. It takes place during Dubai shopping festival. This event not only attracts visitors from all over the world, but also attracts trainers and jockeys as well.


• Dubai Shopping Festival: It is perhaps the most well known events which are being organized in Dubai. This event is really a great attraction for tourists and many people prefer to come to Dubai at this time when the shopping festival is about to begin. Travelers feel very lucky if they have the opportunity to attend this grand event. For shopaholics, this is the best time to shop. Apart from shopping this event organizes various musical concerts, fashion shows, entertainment programs etc. So, there is a lot more to enjoy. This shopping fiesta continues for a whole month or so.
